The Pantomime.     Dec 1935

The definite dates of this event are Boxing Night 26th. December, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, and Monday 30th, commencing at 7-15 each evening. Booking plans will open on Friday, 6th December, 1935 at Dunkirk Studio. Owing to the fact that the seating facilities at the Schools have materially altered, we are this year having two classes of reserved seats, a small number of first seats at 1/6d each and second seats at 1/2d each. The ordinary seats as before, Adults 1/-, Children 6d. The seating accommodation will be much improved and in view of the fact that there are more reserved seats available at a cheaper price we trust there will be a much greater demand. We would advise all patrons to book early for the best places. We are considering running a Final Dress Rehearsal on Monday evening, 23rd December which would take the form of a Children's performance, at which children would be admitted for a nominal charge. If this is carried through it will be announced in the press and the schools. Remember, only 4 nights, Repeats impossible—Book one night now or you may be disappointed. Don't forget the Coupons, there are still some left.

A word to Pantomime Principals & Choruses.

It is particularly requested that everyone who has taken part in any of our Pantomimes should have a careful look round at home to see if you have any property which  belongs to the School. The fact is we have recently had "Stocktaking" and find quite a number of Articles and Costumes, etc. missing and as some of them are required for the coming Pantomime we are naturally anxious about their return. We know these things are easily overlooked and most of you will be under the impression that everything has been returned. But please have a careful look round to make sure. It may save us time and expense.
Just one more point, copies of our Old Pantomimes we urgently needed, anybody holding these do please return them.
